Simon Horsemanship- Helping Hooves

 Volunteering

We are not currently accepting volunteers during our transition to Petaluma. Thank you!

Who can volunteer? Those 12 and up who are enrolled in our horsemanship lesson or training program. We look for volunteers that are knowledgable about horses, dedicated, hard working and trustworthy.

What do volunteers do? Volunteers are important to our programs. They help catch, groom and tack the horses for lessons, they help by leading the horses in the lessons and by side-walking with our riders to insure a safe lesson.  They may help with camps, parties, shows and special events. They may also help with barn chores such as cleaning tack, mucking stalls, turning out horses or anything else to help the program run smoothly.
How do I get started? Contact Ann by email to be considered.

Horses change lives. They give our young people confidence and self esteem. They provide peace and tranquility to troubled souls- they give us hope!
