We welcome your group to come and ride with us! Bring your group
to have fun and learn about horse care, grooming, tacking and riding!
After school programs, at risk youth programs and other non-profit
groups are all welcome! Please let us know how we can help and
accommodate you. Group rates and descriptions are as follows:
90 Minute Introduction to Horsemanship
Bring your group to meet our horses! We will practice haltering and leading the horses. We will then learn how to groom and saddle the horse and get some practice in. After that we will head to the arena to go over the basics of riding. We will learn to cue the horse to walk, stop, turn and those that feel comfortable may try trotting. 2-4 students per horse, we will take turns working with the horses.
At least 5 riders required for this class, no more than 16!
$25 per participant.
3 Hour Horsemanship Tour!
Come take a tour of the ranch and meet our horses. Witness and learn some natural horsemanship techniques using the round pen in which horse and human speak the same language to become partners. We will then practice haltering and leading the horses. Followed by learning how to groom and saddle the horses. After that we will head to the arena to go over the basics of riding. We will learn to cue the horse to walk, stop, turn and those that feel comfortable may try trotting. 3-4 students per horse, we will take turns working with the horses. After working with the horses, we will either do a craft or do a learning activity (your preference)
At least 5 riders required for this class, no more than 16!
